Contract Village provides an advertising platform for new and existing consumer contracts. We do not facilitate the exchange of contracts or provide contract services in any way. Users cannot sell contracts through this platform. Platform users can advertise new or active contracts which are available for transfer and contact other platform users in relation to contracts listed. The website is made available subject to complying with our Terms and Conditions set out below.
Contract Village may revise these Terms and Conditions at any time and update this information. You should therefore verify these Terms and Conditions regularly. Your continued use of the website constitutes your agreement to the Terms and Conditions as amended.
Users of this website must be at least 18 years old and be legally capable of entering into binding contracts. Access to those under 18 years old is not permitted.
If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a company or other legal entity or person, your continued use represents to us that you have the authority to bind such entity or person to these Terms and Conditions.
Our services are only available to customers with a permanent address in the UK.
Unless the context otherwise requires, references to the singular include the plural and references to the masculine include the feminine, and vice versa.
The headings contained in these Terms and Conditions are for convenience only and do not affect their interpretation.
References to any statute or statutory provision shall, unless the context otherwise requires, be construed as a reference to that statute or provision as from time to time amended, consolidated, modified, extended, re-enacted or replaced.
In these Terms and Conditions, the following meanings shall apply:
“Contract Service Provider” refers to the original party to the listed contract who will fulfil the contract with the existing or new party, subject to their acceptance of a valid transfer
“Contract Village” refers to Contract Village Ltd, registered in England and Wales company number 08116995
“Customer” refers to any user registered that lists a contract for transfer on the website
“Data Controller” the meaning set out in s6 of the Data Protection Act 2018
“Data Processor” the meaning set out in s3(6) of the Data Protection Act 2018
“Data Protection Legislation” the meaning set out in s3(9) of the Data Protection Act 2018
“Data Subject” any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person as defined by s3(5) of the Data Protection Act 2018
“Personal Data” the meaning set out in s3(2) of the Data Protection Act 2018
“We” “Our” or “Us’ refers to Contract Village Ltd
“Website” refers to our website, www.contractvillage.com
Users are responsible for all activity on their account, unless we are notified of fraudulent or unauthorised use.
We reserve the right to verify a customers’ identity and also to carry out any checks in relation to contracts listed on the website, including carrying out anti-fraud and theft checks.
Registration is specific to the individual and registered details must not be shared. Customers are not permitted to transfer their account registration to any other user. This may constitute a material breach of our Terms and Conditions, and we reserve the right to suspend or restrict access to the website at any time without notification.
We reserve the right to limit the number of registered customers at any time.
Any prices or charges shown on the website or any other promotional material displayed by Contract Village does not constitute a contractual offer capable of acceptance by the Customer. Prices shown in may be subject to change at any time without notification.
Customers can list details of a contract that they have available for transfer once the registration process has been completed, or if they already have a valid account and have made appropriate payment to us. Contracts listed may be new or active with a remaining time period and payments due to the Contract Service Provider. Contracts shall be subject to the transferring terms of the Contract Service Provider and the agreement of such Contract Service Provider. We shall have no responsibility to you for any direct or indirect consequences arising out of such a transfer or non-acceptance of a transfer request.
New short-term or specialised low cost contracts may also be listed on the website.
The contract between us and you for a listing plan, or placement of a free listing, will be in force once we accept your registration and payment has been cleared and accepted by us. We retain the right to accept or refuse listings at our sole discretion.
By placing a listing with Us you warrant that you have the right to transfer the contract that you advertise. You shall be solely responsible for ensuring that any contract you advertise is transferrable.
We aim to upload and publish listings as soon as possible. You will receive an email confirmation of the listing.
Customers may be matched to listings through their own search criteria and can either accept the terms and incentives that accompany the listing or may negotiate further by messaging the customer who listed the contract.
We will comply with the UK Advertising Code, and any adverts or listings that do not comply may be removed, edited or blocked as deemed necessary and at our sole discretion. Listings may be removed if we are instructed to do so by law or by an authoritative body.
Registration on the website is free of charge. Customers have a choice of listing plans with the option of one free listing per user within a 30 day period. Listing plans (other than the free option) must be paid in advance and will not be available until payment has been accepted through our payment provider, Worldpay. Payment is via a secure server (SSL) connection that protects a user’s payment details. We do not have access to the payment details for a transaction carried out via the website.
Customers are only granted one free listing per 30 days. The fees that apply to the listing plans are shown on the website.
Listing options are inclusive of VAT, charged at the prevailing rate. Our VAT registration number is 140 0908 51.
Contract Village does not accept any liability for the accuracy or details of any contract price shown on the website and shall be under no obligation to compensate customers for any price differences should these listings be amended or changed by the customer listing the contract.
We reserve the right to notify you of any changes to the listing fees by posting these on the website.
We do not charge any fees for viewing the public part of the website. Customers can access the website and see the details of available contracts without charge.
We may accept promotional codes from time to time. A discount may apply to your order if you use a promotional code that is recognised by this website and endorsed by us.
At no time during the provision of our services will customers be asked or required to share financial information with the other in order to complete a transfer. When users are involved in a transfer they may be required to obtain access to each other’s names, but not financial information, date of births or full postal addresses. Contract transfers are finalised through contract service providers.
These Terms and Conditions shall be in force on your use of the website and completion of the registration process. We reserve the right to revise our fees and plans at any time. Any changes to our fees or plans will be shown on the website.
If there is a long period of inactivity on a registered account and you have remaining credits, we may contact you to confirm that you still wish to be registered. If we are unable to contact you, we reserve the right to suspend or remove your registration from the website.
We reserve the right to limit or prevent access to the Contract Village website on a temporary or permanent basis for any user, or customer if there is a breach of our Terms and Conditions. If any user consistently breaches these Terms and Conditions, we may at our sole discretion terminate your agreement for services and block or limit access to the website.
Packages provided by Contract Village are active once payment has been processed, and consequently the 14-day statutory cancellation period under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 does not apply. Payments already processed are non-refundable.
The provisions of this clause do not affect your statutory rights.
You can cancel the appearance of any listing at any time by accessing your account, but fees already paid and incurred will not be refunded.
If you suspect or know that your account or bank account has been used fraudulently you must notify us immediately.
You may only use this website for lawful purposes when placing a consumer contract for transfer. Customers transferring a contract via this website must not use any individual’s details for any other purpose other than in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
Contract Village reserves the right to cancel or suspend any agreement for the placement of listings on the website at any time and to remove adverts immediately at their sole discretion.
Customer care is important to Contract Village. In the event you are unsatisfied with our services, you should contact our Customer Care Team by sending us a message via the contact page on our website.
The Company acts as a Data Controller in relation to the Services supplied under these Terms and Conditions, all data provided to Brainless is treated as confidential. We reserve the right to withhold records which may compromise the confidentiality of other customers.

Under the data protection law, data subjects have the right to access any data personal data kept by us through a Subject Access Request (SAR). If you wish to invoke this right, you should send an email to Admin@contractvillage.com
It is the responsibility of the customers to ensure that any data held as a data controller that contains a user’s personal information is held in accordance with all applicable data protection laws.
As permitted under data protection legislation, we will store a user’s personal data for as long as necessary. We are not responsible for its accuracy or ensuring that it is up-to-date.
We do not pass your information to any third parties except those who have contractually agreed to our service Terms and Conditions or as otherwise lawfully permitted. Data is not used or sold outside of the agreed Terms and Conditions.
We retain the right to respond to legal requests as necessary.

Contract Village reserves the right to all intellectual property in relation to this website and the services provided. Use of the services does not give the user any ownership in the services, its content or any trademark or logo used on the website by Contract Village.
Any information or material, including photos, that customers upload or provide to us, is on the basis of a non-exclusive, irrevocable, perpetual and royalty free licence to use such information and material in relation to the services we provide under our Terms and Conditions.
We shall not be a party to any dispute between platform users in relation to contract transfer or non-transfer, except where it is expressly stated in our Terms and Conditions or as legally required.
Contract Village has taken every care in the preparation of the content on this website, but to the full extent permissible by law we disclaim all responsibility for damage or loss howsoever arising including but not limited to loss of projects, loss of profits, loss of data or consequential or indirect losses arising in contract, tort or otherwise from the use of or inability to use the website and/or any information or materials on www.contractvillage.com
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude or restrict our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraudulent misrepresentation and/or any other liability which shall not be excluded or limited by law.
We do not guarantee the accuracy of details of any contract or posting on the website. We do not guarantee that any contract listed on the website will be transferrable and do not commit to finding a buyer for any or all of the contracts listed. Platform users should follow the given safety guidelines on listing pages and only attempt to finalise contract transfers with the original Contract Service Provider.
No failure or delay by Contract Village in exercising any of its rights shall be deemed to be a waiver of that right, and no waiver of a breach of any provision of the Terms and Conditions shall be deemed to be a waiver of any subsequent breach of the same or any other provision.
Contract Village shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing their obligations under these Terms and Conditions where such failure or delay results from any cause that is beyond our reasonable control. Such causes include, but are not limited to; power failure, internet service provider failure, industrial action, civil unrest, fire, flood, storms, earthquakes, acts of terrorism, acts of war, governmental action or any other event that is beyond the control of Contract Village Ltd.
By using this website, users accept that they shall not rely on any representation, warranty or other provision except as expressly provided in these Terms and Conditions. All conditions, warranties or other terms implied by statute or common law are excluded as fully permitted by law.
Each of these Terms and Conditions is separate from all other conditions, so that if one condition is found to be void or otherwise unenforceable it will not affect the validity of any of the others.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall constitute or be deemed to constitute a partnership, joint venture, agency or other fiduciary relationship other than the contractual relationship expressly provided for in these Terms and Conditions.
No part of these Terms and Conditions shall confer rights on any third parties and accordingly the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 shall not apply.
Notices sent to you by e-mail will be deemed to have been received twenty-four hours after sending and letters sent by post will be deemed to have been received forty-eight hours after sending.

These Terms & Conditions and all disputes, whether contractual or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with them are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and each party submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
